Martinez, California
This is a lovely little town in the East Bay Area outside of San Francisco. It is on the delta and you can fish from this location. This is the town that I bought my first home in. It was a 700 square foot Spanish Style home built in 1929. I wish I still owned it today. It tripled in value five years after I sold it. The area is packed with antique shops and wonderful restuarants. There is also a county court house, county jail and country recorders office. The charm is just oozing from this quaint small town.
